PAS Board Support Association (PBSA) Miri Want PAS Contest In The Urban Areas
Recently, PAS Miri has sent the representatives to the 57th PAS Muktamar at PAS premises in Taman Melewar started on Friday, June 3 until Sunday, June 5 along with the Secretary (SU) Board of PAS Supporters Association (BPSA) Mr Yeo Kian Leong. This is the first time Mr Yeo joined with PAS Miri representatives to attend the central conference.

Mr Yeo was honored to meet the highest PAS central leadership as well as he was also given a seat in the hall for the PAS supporter association as an observer for PAS Sarawak.

He is also very proud and flattered that the central PAS leaders appreciate the non-Malays who represent BPSA during the conference. He was also given the opportunity to meet and greet with the spiritual leader Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and the PAS president Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang and this opportunity has always been highly sought by members and supporters of PAS. His expectations for PAS is given the opportunity to compete in the town areas where the majority of non-Malays and non-Muslims such as Miri Parliament. He said PAS might well be accepted among those non-Malays because he believes that now the non-Malays and non-Muslims have accepted PAS in the town because the town people easily get information about the PAS through the Internet.

We hope that the PAS central leadership could come to Sarawak frequently especially to Miri city in which people here are willing to accept changes in this coming GE13. This is not the only hope for PAS Miri but even the non-Malay population has been ready with PAS because they confident that PAS do not practice corruption and abuse of power and this is one of the reason why Mr Yeo struggling with PAS.

Now the concept of PAS for all has been revealed and thanks to the leadership of the PAS for they’re successful over the years. Similarly, if possible, we want the leadership of the PAS to organize a dialogue between religions and between races so that they are truly understand the concept of PAS and the struggle of PAS for all that have been given a bad impression by their political enemy.

If PAS is given the opportunity to compete in the Miri City this will make PAS and all communities can accept Pakatan Rakyat and of itself PAS enemies’ propaganda will be smashed because there is no issue of PAS is seen as the extremis party and racism. It is hoped that the alliance partners should not be divided and fighting over the seats and give the opportunities for each other to compete against BN that is more important for alliance to take power from the BN in this coming 13th General Election (13th GE).

PAS and the Alliance is Struggles for the people and not for personal gain. It is hoped that the alliance partners can cooperate with PAS if given the chance to compete in the urban areas. If PAS wins the Alliance will also be won so do not be too greedy with seats and struggle for seats that will be eventually destroyed the hope of the people like what have happened in the last Sarawak general election. Let us work together and strive to establish a welfare state for all citizens. PAS for all.
