Harga Petrol Naik Tanpa Disedari?

Petrol Price Rises Without realizing?
Some areas in Miri face RON95 petrol shortage. As a result of running out of stock RON95, consumers had to use RON97 instead and have to pay the higher price of RM2.80. Supposed to the problem running out of stock of the supply for RON95 not happens so long until more than 3 days. We find that it more than 3 days till today (02.10.2013) one of a petrol station in Luak, Miri run out of RON95 with the reason are out of stock.

If this happens at all petrol stations nationwide, indirectly a consumer had to pay the prices of petrol that is more expensive. This indicates the price of petrol has gone up even though the ministry said petrol prices does not go up, but when consumers are forced to use RON97 indirectly they have to pay more to get petrol supplies for daily use.

We urge the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism to investigate the matter, how can RON95 supplies run out. If the reason RON95 be smuggled out of the country, it feels should never happen because the price of petrol in the neighboring country that bordering with Miri is much cheaper compared with the petrol prices in Malaysia. Similarly, the diesel is also facing the same problem. Could it be that certain parties have abused the petrol subsidies is for the benefit of certain parties? Is there smuggling at sea or on land until supplies do not reach the target?

Are certain parties take advantage of RON95 and diesel for the interests of a project that is being progress in rural areas. If the interior of Sarawak the petrol prices are more expensive compared to the price in town. The ministry concerned should investigate this matter by taking decisive action on those who are responsible.

Due to the increase of petrol price caused the people lives become more difficult and indirectly also increase prices of essential goods. The government should think about how to solve this problem more effectively so that the people do not burdened with excessive costs of living.

Perhaps one way to overcome this problem is to give subsidy card to people with low income and impose different prices on luxury vehicles that use high power CC in accordance with market prices. Most of those who can afford to buy luxury vehicles are rich and do not need government subsidies so in this way the government can reduce the subsidy to the rich and affluent.

Hope this problem can be resolved quickly so that the people do not continue to bear the burden of purchasing expensive petrol prices. Cooperation and the action from the relevant authorities are highly appreciated.
