Tanah perkuburan RPR terhakis perlu dibaikpulih segera
MIRI – Masalah tanah perkuburan Muslim yang masih kurang diberi perhatian di Miri oleh pihak yang berkenaan terutama tanah perkuburan yang berdekatan dengan sungai perlu diberi tindakan oleh pihak yang berkenaan. Berlaku hakisan tanah sehingga terdapat liang lahat yang rosak serta batu nisan yang tercabut dari tapak kawasan tersebut.
Penduduk di Jalan Palma 4, Pujut RPR, Miri mengadu masalah tanah perkuburan Muslim yang terhakis serta kerosakan pada liang lahat. Tanah perkuburan tersebut berdekatan dengan sungai Miri.
Menurut penduduk di situ yang tidak mahu namanya disiarkan berkata bukan saja masalah hakisan tanah perkuburan tapi terdapat juga masalah jambatan yang menuju ke tanah perkuburan tersebut juga agak rosak dan bergoyang apabila ramai yang melalui jambatan itu.
Jambatan yang rosak itu boleh mengancam keselamatan penduduk terutama kanak-kanak yang bermain di atas jambatan tersebut perlu dibaiki segera. Penduduk di situ juga menceritakan satu kejadian berlaku apabila mereka mengusung jenazah melalui jambatan yang rosak itu lalu roboh akibat terlalu ramai yang melalui jambatan itu. Nasib baik tiada berlaku kecederaan teruk berlaku akibat jambatan roboh itu.
Perkara ini pernah diajukan kepada pihak yang berkenaan tetapi sehingga kini tiada sebarang tindakan diambil cuma penduduk di situ berusaha membaiki sendiri dengan bergotong royong. Mereka masih memerlukan jambatan yang lebih kukuh kerana mereka hanya mampu membaiki sedikit kerosakan saja.
Kita mengesa pihak yang berwajib memberi peruntukan untuk membina jambatan lebih kukuh lagi seperti menggunakan jambatan kongkrit yang lebih tahan lama dan selamat digunakan oleh orang ramai yang menziarah tanah perkuburan tersebut.
Harapan penduduk di situ terutama umat Muslim yang akan mengerjakan ibadat puasa serta menyambut hari raya agar jambatan tersebut dibina serta tapak perkuburan tersebut dibaikpulih segera dari tanah hakisan tepi sungai.
Kita harap masalah tanah perkuburan ini dapat diberi perhatian oleh pihak yang berkenaan dengan segera. Kita menghargai kerjasama dengan pihak yang berkenaan untuk mengatasi masalah ini agar penduduk di situ selamat dari ancaman jambatan runtuh serta hakisan tanah kubur.

According to residents who do not want to be named said that not only the problem of soil erosion of the cemetery but there is also the problem of the bridge leading to the cemetery is also quite damaged and swaying when many were on the bridge.
Damaged bridge that can threaten the safety of residents, especially children who play on the bridge should be repaired immediately. Residents also told the incident happened when they brought the remains of the bridge which was damaged and collapsed due to too many people on the bridge. Fortunately no serious injuries occurred as a result of the collapsed bridge.
This matter was submitted to the relevant authorities but no action was taken only residents there trying to repairing itself with mutual cooperation. They still need a stronger bridge because they were able to repair some damage only.
We urge the authorities provide allocations to build even stronger bridges such as using concrete bridge that is more durable and safe for use by people who visited the cemetery.

Hopes of the residents there especially the Muslims who will perform fasting as well as a celebrating Eid so that the bridge is built as well as a cemetery is restored immediately from soil erosion by the river.
We hope that this cemetery problem can be addressed by the relevant authorities immediately. We appreciate the cooperation with relevant parties to resolve this issue so that the people there are safe from the threat of collapsing bridges as well as a grave soil erosion.
