In the process of applying for a disability pension from SOCSO. Have a wife and adopted child (6 years). Stay at home with Lina Anyie (mother-in-law).
They complained about their problems with PAS Miri for the authorities and those concerned to take immediate action. Among the problems that need to be addressed immediately are:-
1. Because his son-in-law (Ong Ching Chai) was diagnosed by a doctor with a stage four cancer, and he had to quit his job. As a result, they cannot afford to pay to rent (RM550) a month.
2. They had to move to Lina Anyie's adopted brother's house in the
northern Piasau squatter area, Miri, Sarawak. This house has long been
uninhabited and dilapidated.
3. The condition of the house is very dilapidated and there is no
electricity supply. Meanwhile, they share a water pipe with their neighbor next
door.
4. The cost of transporting Lina Anyie (kidney patient at Miri Red
Crescent Dialysis Center (MRCDC) commuting from home to MRCDC (Three times a
week/12 @ 13 times a month) at a cost of RM300 per month.
5. Cost of each chemotherapy treatment Mr. Ong Ching Chai at Kuching
hospital, Sarawak. Approximately RM600 - RM700 (bus ticket fare and food and
drink expenses for 2 weeks). Mrs. Penny will accompany her husband every time
he undergoes chemotherapy at the Kuching hospital.
This is their complaint to PAS Miri, the condition of dilapidated houses need to be repaired immediately and they have also applied for land from the land and survey department and also from Temenggong Chief of Kayan Miri division of PPRT scheme efforts when there is a land grant. Similarly, the cost of transporting their treatment is very necessary to lighten their load.
We urge the authorities and the relevant parties to immediately help
solve this problem regardless of race and religion. Cooperation with the
parties involved is greatly appreciated.
