Penghuni rumah usang memerlukan bantuan

Occupants of dilapidated houses need help

MIRI – The problem of the poor and the less fortunate to live in a comfortable and safe home is still a major issue in Miri. Although the Barisan Nasional (BN) won big in the last general election but still cannot solve the problem of people who need help.

According to residents interviewed there are BN representatives who came to their house to take pictures and family information, but so far no action has been taken to help families who need help.

One of the villagers in Pujut Padang Kerbau complain they have long been waiting for the promise of the parties concerned to restore the ancestral home of their father, who has more than 40 years.

Puan Noraini Hassan complains their problems to PAS so that their problems can be addressed by the authorities. They complain that their home had been somewhat obsolete and need to be repaired, especially in the kitchen. Condition of their kitchen was badly damaged where the floor and wall and roof is leaking.

She lives with her husband and 6 children together with in-law and two grandchildren. Two of her children still do not attend school because her husband has no regular income. Because they do not have a steady income they are expecting their house problems can be repaired completely.

They hope the authorities can help repairing their homes immediately. Eid are around the corner and their home situation is not very safe if too many visitors come during the festive season.

We urge the welfare department and the Baitulmal could help ease the burden of the family, especially when they also want to celebrate Idul Fitri soon.

We will always down to the ground and try to help solve the problems of the people, regardless of time.
Cooperation with the parties concerned to resolve the people's problems immediately is much appreciated.
