Masalah Kekurangan Parkir, Pemandu Jadi Mangsa Saman Trafik

Parking Shortage, Driver Become Victims of Traffic Summons
MIRI - Shortage of car parking at the Miri City caused many drivers parking in the hallway or just off the road become victims of traffic summonses.
Since there is no car park for parking, and many are less fortunate imposed by the Traffic Police summonses compound because placed against the vehicle traffic alerts.
Among the areas that lack car park is around Bintang Street Mall Miri, the supermarkets, fish market, Tamu area and also almost all the commercial areas in the Miri city.
This area should have more car park area especially during the peak hours, many are forced to park their vehicles at the road junctions and also at the roadside.
The Traffic Police should control the traffic flow is not just waiting for the drivers park their cars there, then sue the traffic offenders when there is no driver in the vehicle.
Compound rate of traffic summons also too high for minor offenders, such as parking in the hallway. Compounds should be reduced as low rm30 as before but now there is no appeal can be made even if the offender to pay earlier than the appointed day.
Does the government did not think be the fate of the less fortunate who have to pay too expensive for committing minor offenses such as the above?
If they are committing a grave offense to cause an accident or death, we do not dispute that but for this minor offense certainly excessive and should be reviewed.
Traffic Police should carry out to control the traffic flow not to sue them that parking at the wrong place because the task can be done by local authorities (PBT).
We suggest that this matter should be reviewed; the local council should make more car park area for vehicles in the city center because it is not easy to find parking during the peak hours and the Traffic Police should also understand why there is some parking outside the parking area is not intentionally, but they had to due to lack of car park in the Miri city.
If you follow the real rules of course, Traffic Police will continue to sue them out of parking in the car park such as places of worship, public areas assembly and so on.
Hope that this matter gets the attention and review from the local authorities and Traffic Police, so that do not burden their financial needs, especially during festivals.
