'Miri Neon Beer Fest 2018' tidak
sesuai dengan budaya Islam dan tempatan
PAS
Malah ilmuan
Buddhis sendiri seperti Master Hsing Yun dalam bukunya The Five Precepts

'Miri Neon Beer Fest 2018' is not
in line with Islamic and local cultures
Sarawak
PAS urged Muslims to stay away from attending the 'Neon Beer Fest Miri 2018'
beer festival held from 11th to 14th October at the beach of Coco Cabana, Miri.
Some people will say, why you are busy prohibiting the beer festival for the
public to attend, especially for non-Muslims but the effects of the beer
festival will be bad and can have an adverse impact on adolescents, especially
those that are easily influenced by western culture. For example, when they are
drunk, they will dizzy and lose their memory and can cause fights between one
another and can also cause an accident when they bring the vehicle in a drunken
state.
Are
there by participating in the largest beer festival in Miri can enjoy beers
together can eliminate fatigue and have fun? The biggest beer festival in Miri
is not in line with the culture and customs of the locals, especially Muslims
in Miri.
Although
the festival is for non-Muslims, we need to show protests so that such a
program will no longer be held in the future. Programs like this can bring more
harm than good.
"This
alcohol has been banned by religion, either Islam or Christian or Buddhism. In
the Qur'an, Muslims can refer to Surah Al-Maidah verse 90.Christians can also
refer to the Gospel, Proverbs 20: 1 and Ephesians 5:18. If religion is banned,
there must be a reason and why do we have bucked the trend?"Even Buddhist
scholars themselves like Master Hsing Yun in his book The Five Precepts says if
one takes a little liquor, it is also prohibited.
Muslims
in Miri and we are urging the authorities to ensure that the beer festival is
not open to all, especially Muslims who are strictly prohibited from attending
this beer festival.
Yours
faithfully
