Anjing berkeliaran mencemarkan kawasan perumahan

Dogs roam polluting residential areas

There are many wild and stray dogs roaming the Tudan Desaras area that can contaminate and threaten the safety of the population. Wild dogs and stray dogs roam in search of food in the trash and throw feces causing the residents of Tudan Desaras can't stand the smell of dog feces in their residential area.

The once clean area no longer exists after many of these stray dogs began to roam and make the area a new habitat for them. This wild dog needs to be caught immediately to prevent it from continuing to breed.

They also, leave a very foul odor in the area so that it can be inhaled in the area of the residents' homes even though the places are far from each other. With that, residents began to question the comfort of their homes that were no longer awake.

Complaints have been made many times, but until now the problem of wild dogs that disturbed the comfort of Tudan Desaras residents here has not been resolved. Some Tudan Desaras residents complained to PAS Miri about the problem of stray dogs that often roam in the area of the residents' houses.

Of course, these dogs have their owners and during the operation, no dogs were caught as their owners did not release their dogs during the operation except wild dogs, said residents who did not want their names published.

Residents say they are afraid to go out for fear of being attacked by wild dogs that act aggressively every time they meet humans. At one point, the motorcyclist was chased by a wild dog causing him to have an accident. They are also worried if there are wild dogs infected with the rabies virus (rabies). One of the causes of the spread of rabies (mad dog disease) experienced by most wild dogs.

We urge MCC (Miri City Council) and related parties to increase the illegal garbage dump so that solid waste does not become a source of wild dog food.

Licensed dog owners need to change their attitude of letting their dogs roam at will without control should be responsible for their pet dogs.

Among other things, the demand of the residents is to build "speed bumps" and "speed humps" especially to prevent young people from riding motorcycles at high speeds to residential areas.

We sincerely hope that the cooperation with MCC and the relevant parties to pay attention and resolve this issue immediately is greatly appreciated.
