Notifications and Survey Improvements of EPF is too short

The time frame given to advising contributors to fill survey data of EPF improvement is too short, i.e. from April 21 until May 5, 2015.

Many of EPF contributors complain because there are those who are blind IT and do not have internet facility to fill the survey.

Of course not all members of contributors can fill the survey via i-Akuan because many of the contributors who worked as laborers and less knowledge about IT and do not have internet facilities will miss the opportunity to participate in the survey.

If the EPF continues to bring these survey results to parliament for approval without the participation of all members of the contributor, this of course is not fair for contributors who cannot participate in the survey in a short time with no internet facility and those living in rural areas.

The EPF must notify all contributors by mail and email regardless of rank and position of contributors so that they can jointly fill the survey form.

The EPF does not have to rush to do things that involve the contributor provident fund without their knowledge and consent it is not fair if EPF went ahead with their proposal that still many contributors cannot fill the survey form completely.

We want at least 99 percent of the contributors are entitled as participants for this survey. If it less than 50 percent, we do not accept any proposal that has been made on these studies, unless it is really beneficial to contributors.

We urge the EPF should provide sufficient time space to all contributors to jointly completed questionnaires before being presented to Parliament for approval.

We hope the EPF will be able to pay attention to problems and complaints from members of the contributors that averages do not agree their money savings blocked from withdrawal after 55 years, and was used without their consent.
