Balai Polis Miri Perlu Dibaikpulih

Miri police station should be upgraded

MIRI - Miri central police station needs to be upgraded to meet the Miri status as a city. The police station is located in the middle of Miri city which the conditions of the building somewhat dilapidated and too old need to be reconstructed and equipped with sophisticated equipment that suits with the current situation.

Similarly, the size of the police station now is relatively small, compact and relatively limited area for parking then should be built a multi-storey police station to give a wider space so that the policemen on duty in the station is able to work comfortably and not crowded.

Limited parking space at the Miri central police station is causing the complainant difficult to park their vehicles especially during peak hours.

Special parking space for the complainant should be increased to facilitate the complainant lodged a police report can park their vehicles at the safe place without having to search or parking far away from the police station.

With the advent of multi-storey buildings the area for parking certainly more extensive for police personnel and the complainant park their vehicles and this at least able to reduce congestion, especially during peak hours. Difficulties of the complainant park their vehicles causes they park their vehicles all over the place causing the entrance to the police station so crowded.

The responsible party of the police welfare affairs needs to pay attention to this problem. This is a problem of the complainant during a police report and for the convenience of the policemen on duty in the police station.

The problem of waiting too long of the complainant should also be noted by the police on duty at the station. By using sophisticated and modern equipment is certainly the police can receive complaints and respond quickly to curb crime which is spreading now.

Once again we urge the authorities to give due attention to the problem of the Miri central police station, so that it must be rebuilt and upgraded immediately so as not to be left out from the mainstream of an increasingly rapid development in the Miri city.

Hopefully this things get appropriate attention from the authorities so that the welfare of police personnel intact and not be ignored offhand so that police personnel on duty in the Miri police station or anywhere can work comfortably and be able to receive complaints from the public in a friendly, accurate and efficient manner.
