Recently, the delegation from PAS Miri visited 7 families in Kampung Pujut 7, which was directed to move by the authorities within 60 days to a place quite remote and there is no basic amenities should be provided. The sad story of a small community, living on the edge of the river and near the bridge Permyjaya Pujut, had several times previously reported in the press and the news related to squatters in Miri, but there is no effort from authorities to help ease their burden to move. They expect help from the authorities but the move command is issued until recently not one of the representatives of the authorities came to help solve their problems, according to the affected resident that are directed to move. Letters of direction to move are still at the Office of Land and Survey Department (Land and Survey) Miri. The affected residents are direct move to Lot, Desa Indah in Permyjaya, near the EMart. However, what is depressing they are not given any compensation, transfer, and even, in their new settlement land is swampy forest land which are not suitable for housing.
In addition, the cost of moving house and new home construction is not aided by the government. All work and costs of transport, household goods, wood, zinc and board home is borne by average people who are low income and poor people. This is difficult for those affected, especially those who have many families and low income.
